He will probably also give you something for your pet, so it doesn’t catch flees that easy anymore and it will also clean it up, if any pests are present.
Now to explain why the work isn’t so easy: The chemical the exterminator uses to kill fleas will depend on the conditions of the area he needs to use them. He can choose between a few types of insecticides, which are perfect for flees. In some cases, he will use a growth regulator, to make sure that fleas won’t increase in numbers. If the aerosol space spray is needed you will probably need to leave the house for a few hours. These are only a few examples, to see how complicated this work is. That’s why you need to hire an exterminator and don’t try it yourself only if you are sure that you know what you are doing.
